Events and Club News

The meeting will be at the VFW Post 4171 in Golden, Colorado. The VFW is charging us a very small fee and donations will be accepted to cover that charge.  If you have a door prize for a raffle item this would be appreciated. Any stamps for donation will help in mailing out special notices and letters on events.

If you make a movie on gold mining, prospecting or any club activity, you can put it on YouTube and the Foothills Prospectors will link to your movie.

The Club is checking out an area that may become associated with the Club for recreational gold mining.  The area has two campgrounds very close to the property, the Clear Creek and Mitpah Campgrounds.  The links below go to the area and provide information on where to go and camp.
